Nicole + Phil | Married

Nicole + Phil | MarriedNicole and Phil feel like close friends. We had an adventurous engagement session with them last year where we went on a hike in Cuyahoga National Park. Since then we have been looking forward to the wedding for a lot of reasons. Spending time with them is a lot of fun, and we knew their wedding would be amazing. It included several great locations for photography. The ceremony was at the Old Stone Church and the Reception was at the Shoreby Club. These are two great locations. Also, the flowers were done by Pieter Bouterse Studio. I really admire their work as well. The best thing about the day was seeing the joy on Nicole and Phil’s faces from the beginning to the end. Ben + Barb | Married!

Ben + Barb | Married! at Glenmoor Country Club was even better than I imagined. It was the perfect day at Glenmoor. This is one of the best locations to be able to have beautiful guestrooms, along with an elegent ceremony and reception without leaving the property. It made for a relaxed, fun time for everyone. My favorite part of the day was when Ben and Barb saw each other for the first time before the ceremony. The ceremony was unique and heartfelt. Seeing the love these two shared was inspiring for everyone. The reception was also amazing. I couldn’t help but simultaneously dance and shoot. Bhavan + Mandeep | Engaged!

Bhavan + Mandeep | Engaged! Bhavan and Mandeep celebrated their engagement with their closest friends and family members. We had the honor of working with Bhavan’s sister Jasmin and her husband Raj at their wedding 2 years ago. It’s still one of the most memorable weddings for Nelli and myself. We felt showered with kindness and hospitality throughout the day. Bhavan and Mandeep’s event was no different. I especially enjoyed the hour we had doing photos in the forest. They made our job so easy. Sometimes it takes a while to build toward the natural, authentic expressions that I look for. With Bhavan and Mandeep, all we needed was a beautiful, peaceful place to go for a walk. You could tell they were cherishing the moment as we captured it. Molly + Jeff | Married!

Molly + Jeff | Married! Being a part of Molly and Jeff’s wedding was energizing and refreshing. It’s a day I will never forget. Few times do I remember such a pure display of emotions in combination with such a beautiful story. Molly and Jeff’s parents are neighbors on the lake. Molly remembers seeing Jeff on the beach from a window when she was in high-school. Jeff had already moved out, so they wouldn’t actually meet until an appointment in a baggage claim in Denver. Both of the mom’s had been pushing for them to meet for quite some time. Both families were especially happy to see this day come true. It turns out they were both right. Molly and Jeff are perfect together. I’m not sure that I have ever seen someone truly breathe in each moment as deeply as Molly. Together, they savored each minute of this wedding day. Katy + Russ | Married!

Katy + Russ | Married! We were blessed to be able to photograph the wedding of Russ and Katy in mountains of Montana. It was a small, intimate wedding in which the closest family and friends came from all over the country to celebrate the wedding on a private Montana estate. It was a pleasure working beside Katalin Green, their wedding planner. The property had it’s own little family chapel, where several of Russ’ family members have taken their vows. It was a beautiful day. Katy started the day by choosing her flowers at a local farmer’s market. It was one of the most relaxed weddings we’ve ever been a part of.
